A visit to my local fishmongers culminated in meeting these two scaly friends. They were so fresh; one of them still had its dinner in its mouth that they hadn’t had the chance to finish. Sad times. I did enjoy taking these photos though and experimenting with a subject I hadn’t shot or even cooked with before. I quite often like to shoot the raw ingredients then the cooked, end product. I like the story they tell and they usually make more interesting photos in my opinion. You’ll find this a running theme throughout my blog.
