I looked in the fridge yesterday and found a lovely bunch of organic carrots still with their hats on and remembered that my husband the week before had mentioned he wanted me to bake a carrot cake, his favourite. So I couldn’t resist.
However, even though I have my own food photography blog, I must admit I’m more of a photographer than chef. My husband did assure me though that the cake was tasty, so I think I passed the test. The icing was to die for, I could have just had a bowl of that to myself….
