Camping Fun {Sussex Family Photography}

During half term this year, we embarked upon a weekend of camping down on The Mac’s Farm in Sussex. It was brilliant on so many levels. Part of the joy of being a family photographer is that I get to capture my own family and friends’ memories along the way.

The Mac’s Farm is an egg farm so plenty of chickens running around their beautiful, enormous, free range fields. The boys (yes we all have boys) loved feeding them in the chicken run and exploring the expanse of the land. We chickened out (excuse the pun) and hired one of their lovely bell tents but our hardcore friends all camped in ‘proper’ tents.

As well as their camping fields, they also have an amazing communal area, which houses a massive barn with an all singing and all dancing bar and ice cream counter. They have different food vans and live music each week, you really felt like you were at a festival on some evenings.

We of course lucked out with the first weekend of good weather in the UK in 2021 and so the boys really got to make the most of the outdoors and they LOVED it. Stomp rockets at sun down and marshmallows on the fire, what more could they ask for. Check out the campsite link below if you want to make the most of this summer in the UK.
